aUsing
the chi-squared test, co-expression of MAGEC1 and NY-ESO-1
is significantly higher (P < 0.0001) than would be expected
if these two genes associated independently based on their individual
expression frequency.
bUsing Cohen’s kappa measure, the association
of MAGEC1 and NY-ESO-1 expression is fair (κ
= 0.38), indicating that agreement is greater than one would expect
by chance (P < 0.0001). The kappa test was only performed
for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) samples.
