The "Holy Grail" of tumor immunology is harnessing the power of immunity to alter the clinical course of an edited tumor that cannot be recognized and/or rejected by the immune system into one that can be a target and ultimately does get controlled or eliminated in an immunologic manner thereby extending the life of the cancer patient.
