Analysis of the purified, recombinantly expressed OGFr. The full length OGFr protein was produced in E. coli and refolded as described in the materials and methods section. The final product is considered pure as it gave a single-band by Coomassie blue staining. The protein product is also detected by antisera to the tandem repeat region, a detection that is blocked by the addition of the OGFr tandem repeat peptide. The recombinant molecule is also detected by an antibody to the T7 epitope.
