HAGE expression in ALC cells determined by RT-qPCR and immunofluorescence. Efficiency of the transfection with the pBudCE4.1/HAGE plasmid was confirmed by RT-qPCR (A). Immunofluorescence was observed under a confocal microscope in ALC cells stably transfected with HAGE cDNA (D) but not in ALC cells stably transfected with the empty vector (B). No non-specific staining was obtained when ALC/HAGE cells were incubated with rabbit control and secondary antibodies (C). HAGE protein expression is mainly localised in the nucleus.
