The
Cancer Research Institute
(CRI) is a non-profit, charitable organization with headquarters
in New York City. CRI is dedicated exclusively to the support
and coordination of laboratory and clinical efforts that will
lead to the immunological treatment, control, and prevention
cancer. Since 1993, the CRI has been organizing international
symposia to focus attention on progress in the two central approaches
of cancer immunology — cancer vaccines and antibody-based therapies.
The conference proceedings of the CRI annual symposia are being
provided as part of the journal's efforts to constitute a repository
of tumor immunology research.
